During the Build - Phase Four
Our R28 project would pack plenty of horsepower punch and suspension prowess, but we also wanted to add a bit of visual flash to exterior as well. However, we wanted upgrades that were tasteful and subtle rather than modifications that scream "boy racer".

During the Build - Phase Five
Just as with myriad "make-over" primetime reality TV shows, our Project R28 has recently undergone quite a transformation as well. Visually it sports new Euro-spec R32 exterior bodywork accented by RH 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in grippy Kumho Ecsta radials. Read on if you want to see what's under the skin.

During the Build - Phase Six
Nothing ever goes as planned. I flew up to Vancouver, B.C. with the thought of helping with the final engine installation and testing, then quickly making a beeline south to Los Angeles. Then it rained. Lots of last minute details had us working throughout the day, and towards the afternoon we were ready to fire up the car, make sure that it ran, and then hurry to the alignment shop to make sure the four wheels were pointing in the same direction.
